- Minimum a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field
- 5 – 8 years experience
- Has proven knowledge of local Environmental legislation and standards.
- Has experience in Environmental Impact Assessments, Management, Monitoring and Auditing. Experience in Marine Ecology surveys and assessment will be advantageous
- Experienced & confident with report writing and presentation skills
- Can communicate effectively and confidently with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships and always aiming to exceed client expectations
- Must be organised, deadline oriented and able to prioritise tasks accordingly
- Represent and promote ByrneLooby in a professional manner and develop effective working relationships with clients and potential clients
- Is committed to Continued Professional Development
- Working as member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders to ensure that projects are kept on target
- Creating and developing reports and presentations for submission to regulatory bodies
- Ensures all environmental reports are in accordance with legislation and standards
- Performing field work (land and sea), sampling, research and interpreting laboratory analysis results
- Ability to prepare tender documentation
- Performing other duties as assigned
