The Middle Office Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of trading activities. This position is responsible for monitoring and verifying all daily physical and paper trading activities, confirming trading positions and risk exposures, and ensuring they remain within authorized limits.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Monitoring and Control:

  • Monitor and control new trades entered into the in-house information system to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with traders and operators to verify the consistency of any operational or contractual changes and assess their impact on risk exposure and financial results.

Profit and Loss Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver daily and monthly profit and loss reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Pricing and Hedging:

  • Monitor, control, and report daily pricings.
  • Assist in the optimization of global hedges by analyzing risk exposure and reporting necessary hedges to be performed.

Data Analysis and Support:

  • Provide statistical data, trade analysis, and support to trading desks and management.
  • Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to enhance trade performance and risk management.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Ensure that all trading activities comply with both company policies and legal regulations.
  • Monitor adherence to compliance standards and report any discrepancies or violations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Math or energy background.
  • Excellent analytical skills and comprehension of trading & marketing activities.
  • Strong communication & Organizational skills
  • 3-5 years' experience in relative field.
  • Intermediate python coding knowledge.
  • Candidate must be willing to be relocated internationally.
