Ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage offset programs for global clients.

Ideal candidate will also work on identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities.

The consultant will report to the Project Manager and liaise with clients to optimize program outcomes.

Experience:
  • Proven experience and demonstrated knowledge of offset regulations, compliance, and reporting.
  • Experience with offset programs in the GCC region is a plus.
  • Experience with risk management, with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage a high volume of tasks.
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management, and financial strategy.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Understanding of international business and trade regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing competing tasks.
  • Experience in project management, stakeholder management, and supplier management.
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, PMP, or CIPS are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Assist in legal guidance related to agreements, MOU, offset partnership agreements, and other legal considerations specific to the business or projects, ensuring project requirements and obligations are fulfilled.
  • Assist in market research and marketing strategy, including identifying target markets in and out of Bahrain.
  • Provide industry and manufacturing guidance, assist in building a supply chain with international suppliers, review and implement proposals from obligors, and advise on managing and following up on project implementation.
  • Advise on the viability, compatibility, and potential for integrating technological know-how transfer proposed by offset obligors.
  • Assist in developing offset project lists for obligors and prepare documentation for presentations on offset project opportunities.
  • Capable of providing training, workshops, or lectures related to offset.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration & Finance; an engineering degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the defense industry and a minimum of 3 years in offset programs.
