Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Inspector to join our team

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
  2. Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
  3. Creates and submits written inspection reports.
  4. Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
  5. Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
  6. Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.
  7. Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
  8. Creates and maintains SH&E training records.
  9. Participates in routine safety work briefings.
  10. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  1. Diploma or Bachelors in related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Related work experience in the field of Health and Safety is preferred.
  3. Requires a familiarity with Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures, SHARP Management, Parsons Construction Safety & Health Manual as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
