Our jobs aren't just about mixing drinks. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down, but are constantly on the look-out for new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests' evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts, but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service broadly, doing what needs to be done. Bartenders will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly. They will build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and meet guests' needs. Passion for guest service and attention to detail—regarding cash handling, information sharing, and drink quality—are essential.
No matter the role, success depends on creating a safe workplace, following policies, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods), and performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting (up to 25 pounds), reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Performing these duties well is critical to providing excellent service and supporting our business.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Supervisory Experience: None required.
- License or Certification: None necessary.
