Job Title: QA/QC Inspector – Infrastructure & Road Projects

Job Description:

The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with approved quality standards and specifications. This role plays a vital part in upholding infrastructure quality and performance in road and civil projects through inspections, documentation, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality checks and inspections of infrastructure and road works to verify adherence to technical specifications and project drawings.
  • Review testing and trial procedures, ensuring that proper methods are applied and results are within design parameters.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC Engineers and Client Representatives to confirm understanding of test results and resolve discrepancies.
  • Immediately escalate any non-conformances or adverse results to the QA/QC Manager for corrective action.
  • Ensure diagnostic and testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and recorded in compliance with quality procedures.
  • Maintain and update inspection reports, test records, and non-conformance logs accurately.
  • Communicate clearly with site teams regarding inspection outcomes, procedural requirements, and quality expectations.

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in road and infrastructure projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of civil quality inspection procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze test results and engineering specifications.
  • Skilled in organizing and coordinating inspection workflows.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and applicable infrastructure codes.
  • Proficient in generating QA reports and maintaining quality documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and client representatives.
