Job Overview

Due to our exciting continued growth, we seek to appoint an outstanding Secondary Design & Technology Teacher - Resistant Materials Teacher for an August 2025 start. We are introducing this subject for the first time across our Key Stage 3 curriculum, so we are looking for a passionate Technology Teacher to write and deliver a scheme of work suitable for our school situated in Bahrain. As the first full-time Resistant Materials Technology teacher within the secondary school, you will create opportunities for pupils to showcase their talents outside the curriculum and help raise the profile of Technology within the school and the local community.

  • Experienced specialist subject teacher using the English National Curriculum at Secondary level including IGCSE and Key Stage 5.
  • Skilled in the best global educational practices.
  • Committed to developing and inspiring every student to believe they can and will succeed.
  • Connects with pupils and teaches engaging lessons to foster happy, creative, and confident learners.
  • Tech-savvy, fluent in using technology to extend and enrich each student's learning experience.

  • Passionate about providing enriched learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Committed to their own CPD.
  • Excellent communicators who can ignite a passion for learning in students.
  • Strong academic background, well-organized, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and well-qualified, holding at least a B.Ed. or a B.A. & PGCE with QTS.
