Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Amwaj Islands is looking for a Waitress to join their team

As a waiter/waitress, your main job is to deliver exceptional food and beverage service. The job incumbent works in line with the hotel's guidelines and business plan, Wyndham Corporate policies and procedures, and according to local requirements and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational:

  • Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
  • Work as a team with associates in all departments to ensure timely service and smooth operation.
  • Understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures regarding guest service, operation, personal discipline, and grooming.
  • Check out with your Supervisor before leaving your station or the floor for any reason.
  • Have full knowledge of the services and facilities provided by the hotel to answer guest questions.
  • Follow all safety policies to ensure a safe work area.
  • Follow reasonable work-related requests from Managers or Supervisors outside normal duties to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain your station according to standards at all times.
  • Develop a complete knowledge of menus.
  • Learn and correctly use Point of Sale equipment and follow procedures.
  • Maintain strict security when entering guest rooms to protect guest privacy.
  • Participate in training meetings to develop skills and guest satisfaction.
  • Check corridors for trays when returning from Room Service orders.
  • Clean and break down trays in the dish area, watching for condiments, salt, pepper, sugars, etc.
