Content Creator

We are looking for a Content Creator who lives and breathes social media, storytelling, and sports culture — especially football and padel. In this role, you'll create engaging, original content for digital platforms that speaks directly to our community and strengthens Malaeb's brand identity.

  • Develop and produce high-quality video and photo content for social media, website, and app
  • Capture on-the-ground stories from pitch events, tournaments, and user experiences
  • Create dynamic reels, short-form videos, and visual storytelling pieces that drive engagement
  • Write captions, microblogs, scripts, and other copy that's on-brand and culturally relevant
  • Support campaigns with branded storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Collaborate on weekly content calendars that reflect brand voice, trends, and strategy
  • Work with the marketing and product teams to align content with business goals
  • Participate in ideation sessions for seasonal campaigns, influencer collaborations, and feature launches
  • Analyze performance metrics and adapt content strategy based on insights
  • Feature players, teams, and clubs from the Malaeb community to build a sense of belonging
  • Support UGC (user-generated content) strategy and collaborate with top users and ambassadors
  • Monitor trends in sports, gaming, and youth culture to keep Malaeb ahead of the curve
Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities: Content Creation
  • Develop and produce high-quality video and photo content for social media, website, and app
  • Capture on-the-ground stories from pitch events, tournaments, and user experiences
  • Create dynamic reels, short-form videos, and visual storytelling pieces that drive engagement
Social & Editorial Content
  • Write captions, microblogs, scripts, and other copy that's on-brand and culturally relevant

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2–4 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital storytelling
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut) and design apps (Canva, Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and what makes content perform
  • Creative thinker with a deep appreciation for sports, youth culture, and digital community
  • Strong writing skills (English and Arabic)
  • Comfortable shooting content on a phone or DSLR — you're scrappy, fast, and adaptable
Preferred:
  • Experience working with sports, tech, or youth-focused brands
  • Portfolio of engaging content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, mini-docs, social series, etc.)
  • Knowledge of football, padel, and GCC sports culture is highly valued
