Job Title: System Administrator Tier II

Location: NSA, Bahrain

Job Responsibilities

The System Administrator Tier II Support position will be responsible for maintaining and operating a computer system and/or network.

  • Experience reviewing and deploying vendor security patches and updates.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies, including Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS).
  • Proficient in server performance tuning and monitoring tools.
  • Skilled in server configuration and management tools such as Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills and understanding of networking principles.
  • Capable of producing clear and thorough technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable).
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience working in a military environment.
  • Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
  • Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management or related field, OR An associate's degree plus 7 total years of recent specialized experience, OR a certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
