As a GIS Installation Specialist, your day involves installing and supervising Siemens Energy GIS systems, handling SF6 gas safely, and troubleshooting across multiple sites. You will lead testing, interpret construction drawings, and prepare reports while adhering to EHS standards to ensure safety.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Install Siemens Energy Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), models 8DQ1-6, 8DN8-2/5/6, and 8DN9, with factory certification.
  • Supervise assembly and installation, ensuring safety and operational compliance.
  • Handle SF6 gas, including purity and leakage testing, following safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve major GIS issues for optimal performance.
  • Prepare installation method statements and inspection reports, sharing knowledge with the Know How Center (KHC).
  • Maintain awareness of EHS requirements, promote Zero Harm initiatives, and uphold safety protocols on sites.
What You Bring
  • Degree or Diploma in electrical discipline with 5+ years' experience in Siemens Energy GIS assembly and supervision.
  • Strong communication skills for networking, negotiating, and influencing.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, capable of working under pressure.
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity, demonstrating integrity and high standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
