お客様のミッションクリティカルな業務を支える基幹システムはビジネスを支える重要なシステムです。多くの企業において、こうしたシステムは、メインフレームやミッドレンジプラットフォームで稼働しています。こうしたシステムは安定かつ堅剛である一方で、定常的な運用コスト負荷、短期間で変化するビジネスニーズへの柔軟な対応が容易でないなどが課題になっています。従来のアプリケーション資産を継承しモダナイズすることでビジネスに俊敏性と持続性を実現化することは大きなチャレンジです。しかし、モダナイズされたアプリケーションアセットを Amazon Web Services(AWS) のマネージドサービス上で動かすことは、単なるプラットフォームやアプリケーションアセットの刷新にとどまらない、お客様の未来を作る仕事です。

モダナイゼーションによってコスト削減、効率化が実現すれば、生成AIなどの最新の技術サービスの活用による新しいアプリケーション開発と新しいビジネスサービスのプロダクトリリースなどの長期的な好循環と価値の享受が期待できます。このようなお客様のビジネストランスフォーメーションの実現を支援するのが Migration Advisory Consultant です。メインフレームやミッドレンジのシステムの知識と経験を持ち、これらの上で稼働するミッションクリティカルなシステムののモダナイゼーションに経験、興味のある方を求めています。

Key job responsibilities

当ポジションのコンサルタントは、お客様とパートナーのメインフレームとミッドレンジプログラムの評価、計画、動員、設計、実行を支援します。AWS ProServeのコンサルタントは、スケーラブルなモダナイゼーション手法と自動化ツール技術をエンゲージメント全体に適用することで、メインフレームのモダナイゼーションを加速することを目指します。お客様の経営課題を把握しそれを実現する上で、現行システムのモダナイゼーションの最適アプローチとそれを実現する全体計画の策定を支援します。また、関係する技術コンサルタントとともに、モダナイゼーションのための最適技術手法や技術選択肢の決定などを支援し、お客様が AWS のサービスを活用してスケーラブルで可用性の高いアプリケーションソリューションを構築できるよう支援します。

こうした支援を通じた市場へのサービス投入の短縮化やビジネスインパクトの大きなシステムのクラウドへのマイグレーション&モダナイゼーションの実現はとてもエキサイティングな経験になるはずです。お客様の成功のために複数の Professional Services のメンバーやAWS パートナーのメンバー、そして、グローバルの Professional Services を含む社内の多くの AWS チームや AWS パートナーと連携し、価値提供にまい進することで技術者としての成長も期待できます。

A day in the life

お客様先に常駐はせず訪問ベースでご支援を提供しています。また、お客様のご要望があればお客様先へ訪問があります。お客様に対してチームで対応するなど体制に柔軟性があり、コアなしフレックス制度やリモートワークも活用し、柔軟でライフステージに合った働きやすい環境が整っております。

Minimum Requirements
  • AWSの代表としてお客様のCXOへの説明、または、チームメンバーや AWS パートナーのメンバーと協業し情報共有や議論を進めるコミュニケーション力
  • 5年以上のミッションクリティカル・システム構築プロジェクト、または、移行プロジェクトの参加経験
  • メインフレーム(IBM IBMz, AS400/富士通 GS21/NEC等)、x86以外のレガシーシステムの知識・経験
  • 可用性やスケーラビリティなど高いレベルでの非機能要件が必要とされるシステムのアーキテクチャ設計経験
  • お客様・AWS パートナー・他部門を含む同僚とのビジネスレベルの日本語読解・ドキュメント作成・会話能力
  • 基幹システムのクラウドマイグレーション・モダナイゼーションにおけるアプリケーションアーキテクト、またはアプリケーション開発者としての経験
  • AWSサービスを利用したCI/CD開発環境の構築経験
  • コンテナやサーバレステクノロジーを使用したシステム全体規模のアーキテクチャ設計、アプリケーション設計とその開発経験
  • 社内のグローバルチームと情報共有や議論を進める英語によるコミュニケーション力
  • COBOL、JCL、RPG等の開発言語の知識・経験
