Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere, and Public.

We are currently hiring for several Chef De Partie positions to lead the culinary operations, including planning, organization, training, and leadership of all BOH operations across multiple restaurants in Bahrain. The Chef De Partie will work collaboratively with the sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure the successful running of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Setting up the kitchen prior to a restaurant's opening.
  2. Preparing specific kitchen stations by bringing all food containers to that point in the line.
  3. Cooking specific portions of each plated meal.
  4. Assisting with marinating, cutting, and pre-cooking foods.
  5. Cleaning the kitchen before closing.
  6. Cleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soap.
  7. Wrapping unused items and storing them properly at the end of a shift.
  8. Plating food creatively to maximize customer enjoyment.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Qualification from a culinary school.
  3. Previous experience in a similar role.
  4. Ability to work well in a team.
  5. Excellent listening and communication skills.
  6. Knowledge of safety and sanitation best practices.
  7. Passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
  8. Multitasking and organizational skills.
  9. Availability to work shifts during weekends and holidays.
