Minimum Qualifications Summary

Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.

Must meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements as per OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01, and Air Force Manual 17-1301.

Must complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable ST5 investigation (including SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Continuous Vetting (CV) program), adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD CAF without conditions, exceptions, or waivers, and maintain security clearance for the duration of the contract.

Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Experience Required

Complete knowledge and ability to manage Joint and Service-specific C2 systems data output contributing to the Common Intel/Common Operational Picture.

Expertise in effective use of Command and Control (C2) Systems.

Expertise in organizing and synthesizing video displays, links, and access points for rapid access to C2 systems.

Military experience as an Operations and/or Communication Chief at Brigade level or higher, focusing on USMC C2 systems.

Ten years of military experience.

Job Objective

Under a five-year contract, the Command and Control Integration Specialist will support MARCENT and subordinate commands, specifically supporting the 5th MEB located in Bahrain, conducting tactical command and control, planning, and naval integration actions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide command and control systems integration and support analysis for systems including CPOF, GCCS, IOS, JTCW, Video Teleconference Systems, Palantir, BICES, CENTRIX, SIPR, NIPR, Chat Surfer, Agile Client, CIDNE, SharePoint portals, and JADC2 derived systems.
Education & Certification
  • Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
  • Must meet certification requirements per OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01, and Air Force Manual 17-1301.
  • Must complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, ST5 investigation, and maintain SCI eligibility.
  • Preferred: Higher education degree in relevant fields.
Security Clearance
  • Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Work Location
  • MARCENT, MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL
  • 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Bahrain
  • Travel to various countries supporting CENTCOM AOR, with potential for short-notice OCONUS travel supporting personnel recovery and training.
