The Senior IT Specialist must be able to manage all Microsoft and non-Microsoft core business applications and operating systems, both On-Premises and Cloud Environments (Azure/AWS). This includes managing networks and security within the organization, covering devices, software, workstations, and server hardware. This role is a key position within the service department and involves resolving high-level technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft and non-Microsoft products.
  • Deploy new projects and products.
  • Upgrade existing systems and manage infrastructure in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, migrate, and upgrade Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Manage Active Directory 2022/Azure AD, DHCP, DNS in complex environments.
  • Deploy Windows 11, applications, updates, and upgrades using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Manage Office 365 Admin Center and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Manage Linux Server OS creation and administration.
  • Oversee Microsoft technologies: Windows 11, Office 365, Visio, MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Microsoft Defender.
  • Implement and manage security policies like Conditional Access, Windows Information Protection, MFA, and others as per iGA requirements.
  • Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Security Groups, Storage Gateway, and network configuration.
  • Oversee network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Cisco routers and switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and security solutions like Cortex Antivirus and Qualys.
  • Manage virtualized environments using Microsoft Azure and AWS, including server/system monitoring and alerts.
  • Utilize backup and recovery solutions such as Veritas Backup Exec and Altaro.
  • Manage IP Cloud Telephony integrated with Teams.
  • Resolve issues related to IT infrastructure and networks.
  • Maintain documentation for all systems and infrastructure.
  • Participate in IT projects, providing support, documentation, and feedback.
  • Coordinate with clients and suppliers for IT requirements.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in designing and deploying infrastructure, hardware, and networking solutions.
  • Experience deploying production applications, hardware, and networks as described above.
  • Proficiency in systems deployment within Windows platforms and infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of Service-oriented architecture and interface architecture.
  • Experience working with multiple solution partners and system integrators.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams both on-site and virtually.
  • Accountability for overall service quality.
  • Understanding of security issues related to applications.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience monitoring service thresholds.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and awareness of current technological trends.
  • Ability to multitask and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and system monitoring tools.
  • Certifications: MCTS, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certifications, Microsoft Azure Certification.
  • Responsibility for managing AWS infrastructure, backups, on-premises servers, firewalls, SharePoint, load balancers, NAC solutions, and IP telephony integrated with Teams.
  • Availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and after-hours for scheduled activities.
