Senior Graphic Designer

Position Overview

The Senior Graphic Designer is a pivotal role within the creative team, responsible for leading visual strategy, setting creative direction, and ensuring exceptional design quality across client projects. Collaborating closely with internal teams, the Senior Graphic Designer works closely with the design team, oversees the creative process, and champions innovative and effective visual storytelling.

This role requires a strategic mindset, outstanding design skills, and the ability to inspire creativity and excellence within the design team.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Strategy

• Lead creative direction and visual strategy across the agency, setting clear standards for exceptional design.
• Innovate and implement design strategies that align with client objectives and brand identity.
• Mentor and develop others in the graphic design team, fostering creativity, professional growth, and alignment with agency standards.

Design & Project Management

• Direct and execute high-quality graphic design for social media content, digital advertising, branding projects, and ad-hoc initiatives.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with creative briefs.
• Collaborate with Social Media and Digital Marketing teams to produce visually compelling content aligned with strategic goals.

Performance & Team Development

• Conduct quarterly performance reviews with the design team manager, providing feedback, setting professional development goals, and nurturing growth.
• Facilitate regular team check-ins and creative reviews to maintain quality and creative alignment.
• Work closely with internal departments including Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Production to ensure cohesive visual storytelling and campaign execution.
• Participate actively in pre-production planning, providing visual direction and design guidance.

Quality Assurance & Brand Consistency

• Review and approve design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, high standards, and alignment with client brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience, with proven leadership experience.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and familiarity with AI-driven design tools.
• Exceptional organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication, mentorship, and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Fluent in English, with Arabic proficiency highly advantageous.

Coordinates with: Client Services Managers, Social Media Teams, Digital Marketing Team, Production Team.
