Graphic Designer

Calo is an app providing personalized meal plans for busy people through nutritional algorithms, built with love by chefs, nutritionists, and software engineers.

Launched in Bahrain in 2019, we have since expanded to 7 countries in the region, delivered millions of meals to our customers, and launched our very own Grab & Go Cafe concepts.

We're looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to create engaging, on-brand visuals in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment. As part of our dynamic marketing team, you'll work on a variety of campaigns and content that directly support Calo's growth.

The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented, able to move quickly from concept to execution while managing a part-time schedule. You'll be responsible for conducting research, staying on top of design trends, and delivering visual solutions that align with Calo's marketing strategy and business goals.

• Design assets across channels: social media, email, digital ads, landing pages, and packaging
• Translate marketing briefs into visual campaigns that are on-brand, high-converting, and beautifully crafted
• Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to develop creative concepts
• Contribute to evolving the brand's visual language in partnership with the Design and Marketing team
• Prepare and deliver production-ready design files (static and animated, if applicable)
• Ensure visual consistency across all channels and campaigns
• Support product and content teams with UI visuals, presentations, or branded templates

• 2–6 years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house).
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design styles, marketing materials, and campaigns.
• Bonus: Experience with food, wellness, or lifestyle brands.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Bonus: Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, and Canva
• Excellent sense of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
• Comfortable working within brand guidelines while thoughtfully pushing boundaries
• Well organized with strong attention to detail and file naming/workflow hygiene
