Mathematics Teacher

Mathematics Teacher – The International School of Choueifat, Cairo. The role involves delivering the SABIS curriculum and philosophy, using SABIS teaching methods to support student success and growth.

• Teaching a class using the provided lesson plans (and developing plans based on pacing charts as needed) to teach using the SABIS point system.
• Marking exams related to the taught subject in accordance with the department schedule and materials.
• Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) as needed.
• Implementing the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Proctoring exams as needed and ensuring a properly managed test environment.
• Providing support for academically low-performing students through guidance and motivation to help them reach their potential.
• Developing and/or following up on external exams preparation as per the structured revision schedule (when applicable).
• Aiding in duties that may include testing students, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for lunches and buses, and other administrative duties as assigned by school management.
• Preparing and participating in activity plans related to student life events (e.g., art, open houses, physical education) in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
• Attending training sessions to enhance understanding of the SABIS system and improve student performance.
• Performing other related tasks or projects as delegated by school management.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent
• English Proficient
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
