On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, we are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and sort out legal and regulatory requirements, identify compliance obligations, and analyze their impact on business. Participate in the identification and assessment of compliance risks of business departments, and develop compliance control measures.
- Conduct professional compliance reviews during business activities and review contracts, agreements, and internal or external documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Establish mechanisms for compliance-related communication, collaboration, and dialogue with regulatory bodies, law firms, industry associations, and key clients.
- Lead the resolution of compliance incidents with discretion and precision.
- Design and execute internal training initiatives to embed a proactive, high-standard compliance culture across all teams.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education and Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Valid legal practicing qualification/bar admission.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in compliance management, corporate governance, or legal practice.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) as a primary working language. Proficiency in Chinese and Arabic is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications (An Asset):
- Prior experience navigating compliance frameworks within multinational enterprises (MNEs) or international financial institutions.
- Recognized professional certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, CIPP/E, CIPM, or ICA International Compliance Diplomas.
Core Competencies:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Sharp business acumen with the ability to translate complex legal risks into practical operational solutions.
- Strong analytical, legal research, and cross-functional teamwork capabilities.
