Position: Financial Controller

Experience: 10 12 years

Location: Bahrain

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company s accounting and financial operations
• Prepare and monitor budgets
• financial statements
• cash flow
• and management reports
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor project costing
• profitability
• receivables
• payables
• and cash flow
• Manage financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Coordinate with auditors
• banks
• suppliers
• and other external stakeholders
• Provide financial analysis and advice to management for business decisions
• Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities to improve financial processes
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounts team
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies

Requirements

• Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• 10 12 years of relevant experience
• preferably in a contracting construction company
• strong knowledge of accounting financial reporting budgeting and project costing
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting ERP systems
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA ACCA CMA or equivalent
• will be an advantage
• Candidates with relevant Bahrain GCC experience will be preferred
