  • Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, or equivalent, with a successful five-year residency in orthopedic spine surgery
  • Specialization or fellowship training in Spine surgery after completing surgical residency
  • Western certification such as American Board, Canadian, UK Membership/Fellowship, or equivalent like Arab Board/Indian Board

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years

License:

  • Valid NHRA Medical License as a Consultant - Orthopedic Surgeon (for candidates within Bahrain)
  • Applicants from outside Bahrain should be eligible for NHRA licensing as per PQR
  • Current licensure in good standing

Responsibilities:

  • Examine, diagnose, treat, and perform surgery on patients with musculoskeletal disorders, malformations, diseases, and injuries
  • Interview patients to gather medical history, allergies, and lifestyle information
  • Use specialized equipment to diagnose defects
  • Collaborate on diagnosis and treatment of spine-related disorders
  • Prescribe medications, supplements, and recommend diet, hygiene, lifestyle, and exercise to aid recovery
  • Perform X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound scans
