You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical Division of FW DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET BAHRAIN. Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U. S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week). Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring quality and cost-effective troubleshooting, repairs and providing modifications to surface ships. Recommending interim equipment design changes to be accomplished on site to restore system operations until formal design changes are approved to prevent disruption of operational schedules. Applying technical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and/or practices related to the test and evaluation of items, systems, and equipment associated with ship equipment and systems.
