The Officer Health and Safety role is crucial in ensuring the safety of employees, stakeholders, and users of BIA and related facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the health and safety team in conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potentially unsafe conditions and recommend improvements.
- Investigate accidents and incidents within terminal and office areas to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Perform regular audits on internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce risks and injuries to staff, stakeholders, and users of BIA.
- Develop an understanding of workplace processes and equipment to identify opportunities for safety improvements and hazard elimination.
- Promote a positive safety culture across BAC and its subsidiaries and sister companies.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations to ensure BIA's compliance with industry standards and external accreditation bodies.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- ISO 45001 Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the Airlines Aviation HSE (Health & Safety) sector.
