Senior Application Development Specialist We are seeking a Senior Application Development Specialist for an 8-month project. Main Responsibilities: Develop in-house applications by analyzing user requirements, building prototypes if necessary, and testing applications to meet specified requirements. Apply Software Development Life Cycle practices throughout the full implementation lifecycle of projects or changes. Deliver process automation solutions, including third-party integrations using reusable services and APIs. Provide training to users prior to the internal launch of new applications. Document procedures for utilizing and implementing new applications, ensuring users are informed. Resolve application issues, provide technical support, suggest improvements, and customize applications based on user feedback. Assist Project Managers in defining project objectives, preparing project plans and schedules, and ensuring requirements are complete and aligned with project goals. Support the implementation of application systems, collaborate with outside consultants, and assist in testing and acceptance into production. Monitor project progress, prepare progress reports, and address any delays or issues. Ensure adherence to development standards and security frameworks. Deliver high-quality software products with comprehensive documentation. Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields. Additional certifications in software development are preferred. Experience in application support, development, and web design. Development experience in the financial sector. Experience with Sybase Database. Experience with Ethix/Pheonix.
