Position Overview: As an Azure Architect and Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and security in the Azure environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Cloud Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud architecture vision, strategy, and goals. Assess current infrastructure and systems to identify opportunities for cloud migration and optimization. Design and develop scalable, high-performance cloud solutions on Azure. Create architecture diagrams and documentation for the proposed solutions. Implementation: Lead the deployment of Azure solutions including infrastructure, applications, and integrations. Ensure best practices in cloud security, governance, and compliance are in place throughout the implementation. Consultation: Provide expertise and recommendations on Azure services and their usage. Assist clients in understanding and leveraging Azure capabilities to solve business challenges. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring tools and services to track and enhance cloud performance. Analyze performance metrics and propose enhancements for better efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions regarding Azure architecture. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enable client teams to understand and utilize Azure solutions effectively. Technical Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of processes, architectures, and policies for internal and client use. Prepare reports on cloud usage and performance for stakeholders. Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay current with Azure's evolving platform and services. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience:5-8 years of experience in IT, with an emphasis on cloud architecture and consulting, particularly in Azure environments. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and security in cloud environments. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and teams. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with migrating on-premises applications to Azure. Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops practices and methodologies. Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
