Food technologist

Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in food science or a related academic discipline Skills: Providing technical expertise and support in long-life shelf products Responsibilities for this position include: Manage the food safety program within the pilot plant including achieving compliance with any required external standards. Maintain good communication standards across the business environment. Provide technical expertise and support to customers for a broad range of food & beverage applications. Utilize project management skills and knowledge management tools to bring the best solutions to customers and manage & prioritize work. Promote ingredients and capabilities through article contributions (media), speaking engagements, and external presentations (events, trade organization educational sessions). Manage multiple projects and tasks with changing priorities and communicate effectively to keep the account manager, customer, and Technical Services Manager apprised of project status. Assist in maintaining a safe and professional environment. Work on improving the formulation and stability properties of natural colors, light stability, and thermal stability, by physical modification of the colorants.
