Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Domo Ventures WLL. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our client's menu and recipes.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu and recipes, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Menu Development: Assist with menu planning and development, staying up-to-date on current trends and culinary techniques.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements:
  • Cooking Experience: Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Cooking Techniques: Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines, including familiarity with different cooking methods, ingredients, and presentation styles.
  • Safety Regulations: Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations, including proper food storage, handling, and disposal practices.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Time Management and Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
