Main Responsibilities
This role is a key part of the Pricing & Revenue Management and Commercial team, crucial for driving revenue growth and profitability of Gulf Air.
Own all pricing and revenue management KPIs, along with revenue and budgeting reports for top management. Make daily decisions on data quality and visualization to ensure leadership has sound data and reports for timely, informed decisions.
Lead internal and cross-functional teams to identify revenue opportunities and risks, perform complex analyses, and make strategic recommendations.
Main Objectives
Support revenue growth and profitability through strategic decision-making and data analysis.
Maintain and improve reporting tools and dashboards for performance tracking.
Collaborate across teams to develop contingency plans and optimize revenue strategies.
Main Duties
Lead teams to identify revenue risks and opportunities, ensuring effective action plans.
Develop advanced analytical tools and reports to monitor performance metrics like RASK, revenue spill, spoilage, etc.
Understand risk models and impact indicators to proactively mitigate revenue degradation.
Create comprehensive management reports and lead business process sessions for continuous improvement.
Perform revenue impact analysis and monitor competitor fares and market trends.
Utilize technical skills to generate insightful reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making.
Manage projects related to revenue scenarios and modeling in collaboration with finance and commercial teams.
Analyze past performance to identify drivers and trends, informing future strategies.
Lead business process improvements and develop tools leveraging AI and machine learning for pricing and capacity management.
Create dynamic visualizations and presentations for management reviews.
Establish frameworks for ongoing evaluation and enhancement of revenue management systems.
Education and Experience
University degree in Economics, Math, Finance, or related field; Master's preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power BI, SQL, Power Point. English language skills required.
Minimum 3 years' experience in analytics, strategic planning, or financial analysis, preferably within the airline industry with knowledge of Pricing and Revenue Management. Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
