About The Job An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager- Sports & Leisure role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain. The Main Duties And Responsibilities For This Role Are Assist the Manager in the overall management of sports and leisure facilities, including staffing, programming, and facility maintenance. Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver high-quality service and adhere to operational standards. Foster positive relationships with guests and members, addressing inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement innovative sports and recreational programs and events that meet the needs and interests of the community. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of facilities, ensuring they meet health, safety, and aesthetic standards. Assist in budget planning and management, monitoring expenses and revenue streams to optimize financial performance. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management or any other relevant field. A minimum of 5 years work experience for a luxury hotel. A minimum of 2 years management experience in a similar role. A Middle East experience.
