Job Description

We are a selective, coeducational, independent Nursery-through-Year 13 school. Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales, with adaptations to the local context and offers IGCSE and A-Level/BTEC examinations. English is the language of academic instruction, but we are a truly international school with pupils and staff from over 82 nationalities.

The school has 2900 students aged 3-18, with a warm and fun atmosphere. Our students are a joy to teach due to their enthusiasm and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate

We seek an outstanding Teacher of Psychology with a degree and PGCE or B. Ed, and at least two years post-qualification teaching experience. Experience teaching Psychology to GCSE and A level students is essential, along with confidence in using ICT in teaching. Enhanced disclosure from the DBS or equivalent is required, demonstrating a commitment to the welfare of all children. High expectations and aspirations for students, combined with a love for teaching and a proven track record, are highly valued.
