Job Title: Host/Hostess

About the Role

Welcome and greet guests as they arrive, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage reservations and walk-in guests, maintaining an organized seating chart and waitlist.
  • Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, specials, and restaurant policies.
  • Coordinate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient table turnover.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables during peak dining hours.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in reservation management software is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
