Duties You will conduct studies on cost-effectiveness to determine the most efficient use of organizational resources. You will interface with the COR to ensure timely and accurate contract administration services. You will create contract management strategies with measurable metrics to monitor and evaluate project progress. You will develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS). You will coordinate and evaluate the IRM Program to meet immediate and long-term training needs. You will conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to contract provisions and oversee contractor performance. You will organize follow-up activities based on inspection reports and document corrective measures taken. Requirements Conditions of Employment: Must be a US Citizen. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized Experience May Include: Overseeing facility support contract actions for compliance with contracts requirements for the Base Operations. Identifying client support requirements to ensure appropriate service contract tools are in place to meet customer requirements. Developing and implementation of policies, procedures to ensure regulatory compliance to improve effectiveness. WORK ENVIRONMENT - The work is mostly sedentary with frequent visits to other offices within the command. There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items (such as papers, books, or small manuals). The incumbent must be able to physically negotiate ladders, stairways, and restricted areas. PHYSICAL DEMANDS - The work is usually performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. On-site visits and travel is accomplished by military or commercial aircraft to countries of the Middle East and Southwest Asia or the U. S. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to work under hazardous conditions in areas of changing climatic conditions, both indoors and outdoors, aboard ship, or aircraft.
