Job requirement: Grant Thornton Abdulaah Bahrain is recruiting on behalf of a client for the position of IT Operations Manager. The job holder is required to lead and manage the strategizing, planning, acquisition, administration, operations, maintenance, and support of the organization's IT infrastructure functions, which includes the Data Center, Network administration, Server administration, Cloud Services administration, Service Desk, Desktop support, and Database administration. The main duties will involve: Direct and support the IT infrastructure functions, with the responsibility of ensuring the achievement of business goals and objectives within the mission, vision, and values of the IT department. Strategize, design, implement, maintain, manage, and support Group IT Infrastructure. Analyse problems and recommend solutions, products, and technologies to meet business objectives. Manage changes to IT services and infrastructure, including upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new IT infrastructure hardware and software. Develop, design, maintain, and manage the IT Service Management policies and procedures. Ensure high performance and high availability of IT systems and services. Ensure the protection of the state of information technology assets and infrastructure from external/internal threats. Identify, analyse, manage, and mitigate IT operational risks. Perform preventative maintenance routines, Data Center Health checks, and regular checks of infrastructure capacity to maintain the integrity and performance of the IT infrastructure. Ensure Business Continuity procedures are followed to recover from disasters successfully. Ensure system security by conducting regular intrusion tests and applying regular anti-virus updates and controls to ensure network integrity and security. Ensure efficient Enterprise Systems and end-user support are carried out as per the service level agreement and key performance indicators. Ensure that all systems and security service level agreements are achieved, maintained, monitored, and reported monthly. Oversees and ensures the effective governance of IT processes and systems. Qualification & Experience Requirement: Bachelors degree or MBA in a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Managerial role. Native level language skills in English & Arabic.
