**Requirements for 0420, Teacher, Mildly to Moderately Learning Impaired, Elementary**:A major in special education or a minimum of 30 semester hours in special education is required. Course work may include diagnostic-prescriptive type instruction, curriculum based assessment and instruction, remediation activities, educable mentally disabled and behavior disorders.
