**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Maintenance**:
**Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.**
- **Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.**:
- **Replace filters, belts, and worn-out components as needed.**
**Repair and Troubleshooting**:
- **Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in HVAC systems.**:
- **Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, fans, and control systems.**:
- **Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure systems are functioning efficiently.**
**System Testing and Calibration**:
- **Test HVAC systems for leaks and other problems using diagnostic equipment.**:
- **Calibrate and adjust system settings to ensure optimal performance.**:
- **Verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC systems.**
**Customer Service and Communication**:
- **Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, providing recommendations, and answering questions.**:
- **Educate customers on proper system maintenance and energy-saving practices.**:
- **Communicate with supervisors and team members about job progress, challenges, and solutions.**
**Documentation and Compliance**:
- **Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.**:
- **Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.**:
- **Stay updated on industry trends, new technology, and energy-efficient systems.**
**Emergency Repairs**:
- **Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs as necessary.**:
- **Work outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, if required.**
