Main responsibility is supervising the day to day operations of the transport department by efficiently managing a team of drivers and vehicles.
- Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
- Coordinating with the dispatch supervisor for scheduling the vehicles for the on time delivery of product at the customer end or work site and check for the order number, customer to be delivered, quantity of the material etc.,
- Coordinating with the production department for any raw material (or necessary utilities required for production) to be taken from the supplier end or recommended place.
- Coordinate with the fleet department and ensure for the insurance, passing and registration copies are maintained in the vehicle and report immediately to fleet department in case of accident or overwhelming of traffic & fleet rules of vehicle and take disciplinary measures.
- Coordinate with the manager in supporting & identifying the cost of the department and report the same to the manager and the top management.
- Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Performing accurate weighing of all the incoming and outgoing materials to and from the plant.
- Responsible for meeting the monthly KPI and come out with the action plan in case of failure and report it to the manager.
- Developing customer relationships by performing on time delivery, required quality & quantity of finished products and ensuring all site and customer objectives are achieved and maintain a record of the same.
- Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.

12. Compliance with the company’s internal policies, code of conduct, safety and security rules & regulations and environmental aspects as per the IMS standards.

13. Usage of PPE within the given span of time in a proper manner.

14. Support 5S standards routinely by maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

15. Maintaining and cleaning the machine/equipment on daily basis.
