Flourist

**Job Overview**:
The Florist is responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements to meet clients' specific requirements. This role involves meeting with clients, designing and crafting floral arrangements, ensuring budget compliance, and maintaining the cleanliness of the workstation. Additionally, the Florist should provide excellent customer service to clients and assist the Shop Supervisor as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Meet with clients to understand their floral arrangement needs, preferences, and any specific requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of floral design principles and the properties of various materials to craft unique and aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements.
- Create floral arrangements that align with client specifications, or select appropriate standard design patterns as necessary.
- Ensure that all floral arrangements are produced within the allocated budget and meet the deadlines set for client orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all floral supplies and tools are properly stored and that the work area is tidy.
- Interact with customers in a friendly, polite, and welcoming manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with the Shop Supervisor to assist in attending to walk-in customers when needed.
- Maintain open communication with the Shop Supervisor to coordinate orders, priorities, and special requests.

**- Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Florist with a strong portfolio of floral arrangements.
- Knowledge of floral design principles, including color theory and design patterns.
- Creativity and an eye for detail to create visually appealing arrangements.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Friendly, courteous, and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with various types of flowers and their care requirements.
