As stewarding supervisor you will support the operations of the stewarding department by ensuring that all sops of operation are correctly followed and that facilities all equipment are properly cleaned. You will assist in supervising and training the stewarding team members, scheduling of work. Should be able to keep an eye to ensure that health and safety standards are being followed and chemicals are being utilized and stored correctly. Regularly inspect all areas of the kitchen to ensure they are consistently clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Direct and assist stewards in order to make clean up more efficient. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining of steward team members. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to executive chef. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
