Settlement Officer

Our client is a Group that has specialized and excelled in the physical trading of oil and gas, shipping and logistics for crude oil and high-end consultancy services globally.

This role is based in Bahrain to support the Head of Treasury & Singapore HQ in managing the organization's settlement operations. The person shall be accountable for the invoicing process. S/he will work closely with Trading & Operations, Finance and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle and control incoming and outgoing invoicing (accuracy and completeness)
- Identify and investigate trade / lifecycle discrepancies
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving
- Work with front and middle office to ensure invoicing and systems are reconciled, and systems are accurate
- Interact daily with the middle office, counterparties, traders, operations, and the finance desk
- Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills and detail orientated
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong attention to details and ability to multi-task and prioritize work schedule
- Good interpersonal skills
