Al Sedra Cafe is currently looking for Commis 1 to join our team.

**Job Summary**

As a Commis 1, your passion for presentation and dedication to delivering flavour will complete each guest’s experience. By taking pride in your workspace, keeping your standards high, and giving our menu the benefit of your expertise, you’ll create some of our guests’ most lasting memories.

**Detailed Duties**
- Prepare food as instructed.
- Demonstrate the ability to prepare plates.
- Demonstrate appropriate food handling as required.
- Assist opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with deliveries and check that delivered items match delivery note details.
- Ensure food is stored appropriately.
- Assist with receiving and cleaning dinnerware and cookware as required.
- Assist with polishing cutlery and returning clean items to appropriate areas.
- Obey to hygiene, food safety and cleanliness regulations in accordance with SOP.
- Assist the department as required.
- Carefully follow instructions as directed by management.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area at all times.
- Operate in accordance with SOP at all times.
- Demonstrate the ability to make constructive suggestions for new menus and dishes.
- Attend scheduled training sessions and team meetings as requested by management.

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years experience.
