**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing or construction.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) will be an added advantage.

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Verification of purchase invoices entered by accountant for cost allocation (GL code, MIS code and cost center), checking the relevant VAT entries and updating invoices on regular basis.
- Verification of supplier, employee and credit card payments as per standard policies and ensure to meet the commitments made by divisions.
- Verification of sales invoices issued with approved quotations and signing the Tax invoices.
- Supervising the interdivision billing and ensuring the expenses incurred by divisions on behalf of interdivisions.
- Review the petty cash bills and obtaining required approvals from division management for reimbursement.
- Conducting monthly physical stock verification at stores and updating management about the findings.
- Conduct random petty cash visit on monthly basis and bringing to the attention of line manager if any anomalies are identified.
- Reconciliation of staff register on monthly basis to ensure the accuracy of staff related payments and recoveries.
- Monitoring and accounting of prepaid and accrued expenses and maintaining the schedule of prepayment and accruals.
- Preparation of monthly JVs under the guidance of line manager and finalizing the books.
- Valuation of finished goods stock and raw materials.
- Preparation of HO MIS report and submit for review of FM.
- Preparation of monthly VAT return files and submit to HO.
- Preparation of monthly finance check list and sending it for FC’s review.
- Liaise with external auditors to address audit queries under the guidance of FM.
- Assist FM to finalize the yearend financials as well as addressing internal audit matters.
- Assisting line manager to prepare the division’s budget and quarterly review files.
- Monitoring the cash handling at the division as well as at showroom ensuring that collected cash is promptly deposited into division’s account.
- Verification of zero-rated declarations submitted by customers and assure that they are as per the guidelines of NBR and all documents are submitted as per HO checklist before allowing zero rated supply.
- Preparation of 3 months rolling cash flow and updating the same for HO approval.

- Proficient in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
