Key Functions
- Arranging to meet new and existing customers
- Understanding customers’ needs and exceeding their expectations
- Developing a good relationship with customers
- Agreeing prices, contracts and payment terms for products and services
- Ensuring payment is received as agreed
- Advising customers of delivery schedules and after-sales service
- Communicating with the booking and shipping offices about daily orders.
- Being aware of competitors’ strategies, strengths and weaknesses
- Meeting sales targets
- Reporting sales trends to the management
Qualities required
- Honesty, enthusiasm and a good work ethic
- A respect of working hours and attendance levels
- Effective communication skills both on the phone and face-to-face
- A professional and friendly manner at all times
- The ability to persuade and influence
- Good written / spoken English and numeracy skills
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Good self-organization and time management
- The ability to develop in-depth knowledge about concrete products and the construction market
- Experience in AUTO SPARE PARTS
