Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our signage company. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components used in the production of high-quality signs. Your expertise in welding techniques, precision, and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring the durability and aesthetic appeal of our signage products. This position requires proficiency in welding technologies, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform welding operations using various techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, to join metal components for signage production.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding methods, materials, and equipment required for each sign project.

Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and machinery, including power sources, torches, and consumables, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.

Measure and align sign components using precision tools, such as calipers, rulers, and angle gauges, to ensure accurate assembly and welding.

Inspect materials, workpieces, and completed welds for defects, imperfections, or irregularities, and perform necessary rework or repairs to ensure high-quality finished products.

Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure that welding requirements and specifications are met, and sign production proceeds smoothly and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized welding area, including the proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to promote a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe material handling practices.

Stay updated on industry advancements, new welding techniques, and equipment technologies through continuous learning and professional development.

Assist in other production tasks or projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in welding is preferred.

Proven experience as a Welder, specifically within a signage or metal fabrication environment.

Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, with the ability to adapt to different metal types and thicknesses.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform accurate and precise welds.

Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and practices, including knowledge of proper ventilation, fire prevention, and safe material handling.

Experience in operating and maintaining welding equipment, tools, and accessories specific to signage production.

Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to perform intricate welding tasks with precision.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship in every weld.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members, designers, and production staff.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
