**POSITION: SHOW CALLER**
Reporting directly to the brand’s C-Suite management, this position defines, leads, and oversees the broadcast production around the brand’s events and broadcast assets.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Event / Broadcast Production**
- In close coordination with Organizing Committee, define the requirements and processes for host broadcast production for the brands events and oversee consistent and timely implementation.
- Oversee the further development and constant optimization of the brands broadcast product portfolio.
- Communicate the vision and visual setting of each shot
- Define common goals and direction among staff.
- Define effective performance management practices in line with organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop a shooting plan including lighting and camera operations and movements.
- Establish project requirements based on inputs from creative leadership and other relevant teams.
- Guide the Production teams on the position for multiple camera set-ups in line with the shot requirements.
- Guide the switching of cameras for the capturing of the event or show.
- Guide the talent in understanding the shot requirements and the specific camera to face.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, work schedules, and staffing of the various departments.
- Oversee rehearsals for the production to provide inputs on equipment set-up or other changes.
- Provide cues to various Production teams on the sequence of movements needed on set.
- Guide the production crew on last-minute changes and issues.
- Coordinate Technical Needs - Must oversee all production and technical aspects of an event, from directing production staff to testing equipment to managing the control room. They ensure the set-up and working order of all audio-visual equipment.
- Create Event Concepts: During the initial stages of the event, he/she participates in idealization, collaborating with art and technical directors for the event in order to generate concepts and brainstorm ideas. Then utilizes extensive experience and event knowledge in order to help develop a plan for the execution of these ideas.
- Perform Site Inspections: In order to ensure the event runs as it should, he/she will perform initial site inspections and test all equipment to ensure that the venue is adequate and the equipment functions up to standard. He or she will attend event rehearsals to ensure that everything continues to run smoothly and oversee show run-downs before the actual event to solve any technical errors or event issues.
- Work with Vendors - Responsible for contracting vendors and staffing of all sorts, from venues to AV equipment to catering to talent.
- Manage Budgets - Responsible for developing and overseeing the event’s budget.
**Position Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, or communication
- A proven track record in international media rights sales for sports or entertainment and excellent skills in contract negotiation
- Understanding of the distribution technologies, host broadcast and broadcast production for sports events. Experience in the MMA media rights and broadcast production for MMA events considered an advantage
- Working knowledge of archiving systems, archive rights licensing and rights management
- Thorough understanding of the global media landscape, including fundamental legal aspects related to sports rights
- Strong attitude towards high quality, excellence in delivery and ‘client-first’ thinking
- Creative and analytical thinkers
- Must be highly organized, great communicators with the ability to prioritize many different simultaneous tasks
- Fluency in English, any other language is an asset
