Equipment Electrician

**Main Objectives**

Performs various electrical duties. Includes fault diagnosis, major/minor repair and rectification and overhaul work on the company’s fleet of special propose aircraft ground support and handling equipment.

**Main Duties**
- Carries out various electrical duties. Including normal electrical schedule servicing, defect diagnosis, dismantling repair, overhaul of major/minor assemblies, testing to rated specifications and performs levels on all electrical systems within the company’s fleet vehicles and aircraft ground support equipment. In addition to standard vehicle D.C. electrical systems with which the incumbent must be totally familiar.
- Proves rated capacity of motor / generator on an electrical test bench.
- Ensures speedy and serviceable return of the equipment to the user department.
- Maintains good standard of health and safety.
- Ensures that working area is clean and tidy during and upon completion of work.
- Participates in the training of lower graded electrician and apprentices.
- Carries out other similar or related duties as assigned.
- Comply with the Company and Airport authorities’ health, safety, and security regulations.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Education**:
Completion of (12 years) technical education, plus 3 years training Mechanicals Trades.

**Experience**:
4 years’ experience in a similar work field.

**Other Essential Requirements**:
Fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
