Senior Waiter

As a Senior Waiter at Eathai Restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, overseeing the dining experience, and managing a team of waitstaff. You will ensure that guests are satisfied, handle customer complaints, and maintain a smooth operation in the dining area. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and memorable dining experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Greet guests warmly and seat them in a courteous and efficient manner.
2. Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them to the guests' tables promptly.
3. Ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience, such as refilling beverages, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.
4. Supervise and train the waitstaff team, ensuring they adhere to Eathai Restaurant's service standards and have knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
5. Monitor the dining area to maintain cleanliness, proper setup, and prompt clearing and resetting of tables.
6. Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and retention.
7. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests in their selection and provide accurate information.
8. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and presented according to guest preferences and Eathai Restaurant's standards.
9. Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as cutlery, glassware, and linens, and communicate any needs to management.
10. Collaborate with management to develop and implement service improvement initiatives, such as training programs or process enhancements.
11. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean dining environment.
12. Assist in cash handling and process payments accurately, including handling credit card transactions and providing change.
13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service quality and enhance the dining experience at Eathai Restaurant.

**Requirements**:
1. Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress in a high-volume restaurant.
2. Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine and familiarity with Eathai Restaurant's menu.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
4. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
6. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
7. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is a plus.

**Salary**: BD150.000 - BD180.000 per month
