**Waiters / Servers**

This position plays a big role in creating and providing the best customer experience and satisfaction.

The main responsibility includes, but is not limited to, greeting and guiding guests & customers to their seats, presenting clean menus in an accommodating and professional manner; and taking and serving orders. Ensuring that guests and customers enjoy their meals resolves issues if anything occurs.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Welcome and seat guests, present menus, and provide course explanations when requested, always aiming to exceed guests' expectations.
- Manage the waiting list, oversee the floor plan board, and handle to-go orders as needed.
- Monitor tables to track their status: clean, dirty, or occupied.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock of menus in the host area.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries about the menu and GB Cafe culture.
- Engage with guests upon arrival and departure to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Offer suggestions tailored to customers' preferences.
- Take orders promptly, serve them timely, upsell when appropriate, and handle billing and payment collection.
- Set up table arrangements, ensuring tables are always clean and tidy.
- Inspect products for quality before serving customers.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all serving and kitchen staff.
- Comply with all health department regulations and customer service guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Arabic and English Speaker.
- High school diploma required.
- 1-2 years of experience in fine dining and hotels.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 20 lbs.
- Strong customer focus, even in fast-paced settings.
- Proficient in English communication and able to follow instructions.
- Effective stress management and composure; confident and charismatic.
- Willingness to assist as needed and collaborate as a team member.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Capability to manage at least 7 tables simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn, especially about fine cuisine.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Expertise in handling high volumes and performing well under pressure.
- Must be upbeat, outgoing, positive, and courteous.
- Excellent guest assistance and relations skills.
- Awareness of personal and professional hygiene.
