Irrigation Engineer

1. Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance schedules and completion of landscape irrigation systems

2. Design, construction, installation, and operation management of irrigation, and drainage network systems

3. Conduct a pre-tender site visit, prepare the minutes of the site visit, and technical clarifications, and prepare tender documents

4. Evaluate the submitted offers and prepare the Technical and financial reports

5. Supervise and monitor the irrigation activities and take corrective action

6. Monitor the project progress as per the submitted program by the contractor to take appropriate action to catch the delay

7. Evaluate the variation orders and monthly progress claims

8. Supervise and ensure timely resolution of corrective maintenance requests/complaints

9. Prepare the update and prepare/generate reports on maintenance work in coordination with the MEP section

10. Maintain the stock of repair parts to ensure appropriate maintenance of the irrigation system

11. Supervise and participate in the installation of any lines and ensure that the outsourced technicians/maintenance staff are adequately utilizing the irrigation systems

12. Coordinate all activities related and supervision of the third party contractor’s irrigation staff

13. Ensure that QU and/or third party contractor’s irrigation staff follow appropriate Safety and security guidelines at all times Monitor acquisition and use of materials
