**Interior Design Architect**

**Job responsibilities include**:
a) Programming

b) Space planning

c) 2D & 3D presentations, Mood boards

d) Color/material selection and specification

e) Furniture selection and specification

f) Detail-oriented

g) Project coordination

h) Technical design review
- Specialist in interior programming and space planning. Should have good experience in determining space requirements and development of workspace standards.
- Accomplished in color/material selection and specification for interior finishes to meet budgetary and functional requirements.
- Furniture selection and specification - In order to determine best value for clients, conduct evaluation of various furniture systems as part of preparing Furniture, Finish, and Equipment packages.
- Conversant with interior design products available in the market, suitable for high-to-medium end projects.
- Preparing and issuing drawings, specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Produce detailed interior joinery details to accurately reflect interior design concepts.
- Produce concept and details for signage, way-finding and other interior-graphics oriented design packages.
- Project coordination - Communicate effectively with other design disciplines.
- Technical design review - Review of design submittals for technical compliance with project requirements.
- Strong planner, organizer, and problem solver with a proven record of excellence in total project process.
- Effective, professional representative of the organization, with strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Consistently meet project deadlines on time or prior to due date.
- Project responsibility includes establishing the work scope, assisting in preparation of budget estimates and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status to the Project Manager.
- Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters and Junior Engineers working on the projects.
- Should be team player, willing to lead as well as be a part of a team, focused on delivering the task as expected by the PM.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture with minimum eight (8) years’ experience in space-planning and building interiors.
- Conversant in the use of engineering software packages such Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup, 3d-Max, V-Ray, or other visualization software required for preparation of ID presentations.
- Sound knowledge of relevant local (KSA / BH) and international standards and codes of practice.
- Understanding of quality and safety aspects of the design development process. Able to implement QA/QC procedures for submittals.
- Bahraini driving license holders will be preferred, but not mandatory.
