Mechanical Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage onsite mechanical maintenance activities in power and petrochemical plants, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards.
- Supervise boiler retubing and maintenance activities, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
- Lead maintenance efforts on Air Preheaters, Gas-Gas Heaters, and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems, coordinating tasks and managing resources effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical systems and components to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance schedules and downtime to minimize operational disruptions.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures to improve reliability and performance of mechanical systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues as needed.
- Manage documentation related to maintenance activities, including reports, work orders, and inventory records of spare parts and materials.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, specifically overseeing maintenance activities in power plants, petrochemical facilities, or similar environments.
- In-depth knowledge of boiler systems, Air Preheaters, Gas-Gas Heaters, and FGD systems maintenance and operations.
- Proven track record of leading and managing maintenance teams, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide team members.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations related to mechanical maintenance in power and petrochemical plants.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly in emergency situations.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
- Certification in mechanical maintenance, safety, or related fields is highly desirable.
